Since 2002, the Roosevelt Alumni Association, Inc. has existed to promote the involvement of alumni in the progress of the Roosevelt school district and community. By providing a forum so that Roosevelt alumni may establish and continue relationships, stimulate positive interaction between the school district and community, we provide leadership as the means for Roosevelt students to achieve educational excellence.
Our Mission
The Roosevelt Alumni Association shall exist to promote the welfare of the Roosevelt school district and community by:

Providing a forum so that Roosevelt alumni may establish new relationships and continue existing ones.

Encouraging the alumnus/alumna to assume involvement in the progress of Roosevelt school district and community.

Stimulating and fostering an environment of positive interaction between the Roosevelt school district, Roosevelt Alumni Association and the Roosevelt community at large.

Organizing, sponsoring and promoting events that will strengthen the existing cultural and social background of the Roosevelt alumni, students, and community.

Board of Directors
Rob Dixon
President and co-founder
Rob Dixon is known for his dedication and hard work. He works closely with the the board members to achieve his vision for alumni. Rob was instrumental in our first annual Alumni Day. He championed the support of alumni from as far away as Maryland and coordinated our efforts with Project Grad.Robert J. Dixon is a veteran of Roosevelt, having grown up there while attending its schools beginning in pre-K until he graduated in 1989. In 1994, he graduated from New York Institute of Technology with a Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering & Technology. Mr. Dixon is accomplished in the field of engineering and has contributed his expertise at distinguished companies such as Northrop Grumman, Periphonics (Nortel), and Interdigital Communications, Inc. Mr. Dixon is currently employed with Motorola Inc. (Enterprise Mobility Division), a successful mobile computing manufacturer based in Holtsville, NY, where he specializes in wireless technologies.Rob truly believes that Roosevelt's people (alumni, parents, students and faculty) can deliver substantial growth for the students, as long as unity & teamwork prevails.
Jennifer Scott
Treasurer and co-founder
Jennifer Scott, as co-founder and treasurer, manages the finances and administers all fiscal matters. She devises the annual budget and ensures the development and board review of financial policies and procedures. Ms. Scott serves her high school alma mater by assisting with the support of graduating seniors from Roosevelt High School with annual alumni and corporate funded scholarships. Ms. Scott is a 1989 graduate of Roosevelt High School. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering from SUNY New Paltz and a Master's of Engineering in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. Ms. Scott is currently employed by Northrop Grumman as an Electrical Engineer. When asked why she decided to join the association, she replied, “I wanted to create a way where alumni of Roosevelt can come together. With there being so many successful alumni, the children of the community really need to see that successful people have graduated from Roosevelt.”
