Scholarship Fund Update 2009
This year the Roosevelt Alumni Association administered $3000 in scholarships to Roosevelt High School seniors. We successfully interviewed students, all of which had exceptional qualities. We gave (2) $1000 awards, and (2) $500 awards . We understand that this will not totally defray the cost of college, but will give them a boost along with other scholarships and financial aid. Moreover, it shows the students that alumni do care and it promotes the example of giving back.
Please join us in supporting our students. You can donate on-line below by pressing the button (join or donate) at the bottom of the web-page or mailing your contribution to the address below. All funds given will be directed to the scholarship account. Scholarship funds come directly from membership dues & donations.
